PAU GASOL VOTED AS THE BEST FORWARD/CENTER EVER FROM THE L.A.LAKERS

Spanish basketballstar Pau Gasol has been voted with 84,5% as the best forward/center ever from the Los Angeles Lakers.

His carreer seems unstoppable, as he also has been voted in the best team ever from the Memphis Grizzlies where actually his brother Marc Gasol is playing. Gasol won the Spanish team the gold medal con the World Championships of 2006 in Japan, the gold medal of the European Championships of Poland in 2009 and the silver medal of the Olimpic Games of 2008 of Beijing (China) and not to forget 2 NBA rings with the Lakers in 2009 and 2010. Pau was NBA Rookie of the Year in 2002, 3x NBA All-Star (2006, 2009 and 2010) and 2x All-NBA Third Team.

Other players that are in the favourite five of the Lakers are guard Magic Johnson with 98,9%, Center Kareem Abdul-Jarrar with 49,2%, guard Kobe Bryant with 79,1% and forward Elgin Baylor with 76,7%, leaving behind legandary players like Shaquille O'Neal, Wilt Chamberlain, Michael Cooper and Byron Scott.

FIN DEL CALVARIO PARA LOS MINEROS DE LA MINA DE SAN JOSE (CHILE)

Por fin los 33 mineros de la mina San José (cerca de la ciudad de Copiapó, region de Atacama - Chile), atrapados tras el derrumbe del día 5 de agosto de 2010, durante 69 días a una profundidad de 622 metros, empiezan a salir. La operación se ha realizado mediante la cápsula Fenix 2, con un diámetro de 51 cms, que ha sido introducida en un tubo por el conducto perforado hasta llegar al refugio de los mineros.

El día 13 de Octubre 2010 a las 00.09 AM local (06.09 AM en España) salió el primer minero, Florencio Ávalos, recibido con lágrimas por su hijo.
